New regional Empirical Ocean Tide model for the North European Continental Shelf and #NorthSea (EOT-NECS) from 30 years of #altimetry data is available. It was successfully used to force the @Deltares operational forecast model and resulted in improved water level predictions:

We have developed a probabilistic reconstruction of vertical land motion (VLM) from 1995 to 2020, which reveals the effects of spatially and temporally varying vertical land motion on relative sea level on a global scale (nature.com/articles/s4156…).
