One thing is uncertain. Why does govt impose customs duty on electronic components which literally nobody manufactures it locally. Impose customs on assembled goods but why electronic components and raw materials? This hinders the made in India electronics manufacturers.

i think component sourcing at competitive price, at all stages of product lifecycle (proto➡️pilot➡️prod), without any hassle -- would make building hardware a lot more easier. do you agree? what are some of the challenges you faced with it, and how did you overcome them?
