Our Huskies Robotics team is gearing up and ready to compete in the regional Lego League competition in Dallas this weekend. They'll be competing against approximately 60 other teams. We are so proud of their hard work. We know they will do amazing! Go Huskies!

Our 4th grade students got to make marble runs this week to show how gravity and friction affect their run.

Our 5th grade students are analyzing the relationship among characters by creating character trading cards.

Our teachers had a fun filled day of learning and collaborative planning on Monday to ensure we end this school year with a bang! Thank you to our wonderful Harrington PTA for the sweet surprises.

Our kindergartners did a great job being geologist today as they used their science tools and observation skills to collect soil and rock samples.

It's Plano ISD's Youth Art Month and so we would to send a huge shout out to Mr. Herndon. Thank you for all you do to encourage and inspire young artists. Harrington is lucky to have you!

Great teaching and learning is always happening at Harrington.

Our 5th graders have had a blast this week learning about thermal properties and building solar ovens. Today they were able to test their designs.

5th grade Science STAAR review started off great with a tour of knowledge. It always so great to see everything the students have learned this year.

Great writing happening in Kindergarten! They were given the task of identifying key details from the story “Growing Vegetable Soup,” and then drawing a picture and writing a sentence that represents something they could grow. They did a great job using sentence stems!

To kick off the STAAR testing time for our 3-5 grade students we had a parade to celebrate their hard work. They are going to shine!

All fun things are happening in Art. Our first graders got to experience with Shadow Art outside, our 4th graders made clay looms and practiced weaving on them, and our 3rd graders painted pottery.

We must take the time to give a huge shoutout and congratulations to Mrs. Sadia Qazi for being the recipient of the PISD 100 Support Staff Award. Mrs. Qazi goes above and beyond her daily job expectations and we are so thankful to have her at Harrington.
