Rivers are fun at any age and this was certainly the case for some children from #Betws Family Centre. They did an excellent job at finding minibeasts and showing us how great it is to sit and chill by a river. Time spent with nature is never wasted.

Much like rivers, language forms a cornerstone of cultures and our links to nature. So we asked some of our volunteers to share a 'Happy Earth Day' message in their chosen language.

We are really excited to have the opportunity to work on this project to prove that 100% clearance can be achieved with sufficient effort and long-term funding. 3.5 years from now we hope to be showing this to Welsh Government!

We finally(!) had a break in the weather today to install a fish pass on the Fferws Brook in #Ammanford in the River Loughor catchment.

This simple fish pass, known as 'baffles' is constructed from green oak timber. 1/2

An increasingly concerning issue with wetter seasons. Now that the SFS consultation has ended, I would like to see the same level of concern from farming bodies & WG to non-compliance to upcoming NVZs. The vast majority of farms we visit have significantly inadequate storage.
