NHHRC A6: Harm Reduction has created the space that we have. Without it, LLC would cease to exist! It allows us and our members to have nuanced conversations with one another that accounts for our exp with drugs, with sex work, with our queer identities.

A7. One big win was that NHHRC launched the states very first Overdose Prevention Van and I was the one who designed the exterior 🥰🥰🥰 Not only are we reaching more ppl but I was able to help by using my artistic talents! #HarmReductionTwitterChat

NHHRC A7: Despite legislative setbacks across the country, this yr we grew a lot bc of our Lighthouse Learning Series. 1200 registrations over 8 sessions! We’re currently embarking on a project w/ Trans Equity Consulting to create a Gender Affirming Care Toolkit for all 14 SSPs in NYC!

Today is International Sex Workers’ Day. ISWD is held to mark the 1975 occupation of Saint-Nizier Church by around 100 sex workers, protesting their criminalised & exploitative living conditions. Sex workers continue to mark the day by calling for fulfilment of their rights.
