It was a wild couple of nights for the Sagamore Conference meet, and after some gutsy performances and for the first time in 30 years, since we were in the WCC, the Warriors are conference champions for women’s and men’s track in the same year!

🚨🚨SCHOOL RECORD ALERT!!🚨🚨 Joe Countryman, Dakoda Greci, Jack Hearld, and Lucas Steward run the 4x8 relay in 8:08.83, breaking last season’s record-setting mark by about 5 seconds! ‘Twas a fast field - now we wait to see if they earn a callback to the regional meet.

🚨REGIONAL QUALIFIER🚨 Caden clears 6’5” to clinch 3rd place and punch his ticket to Lafayette!

🚨SECTIONAL QUALIFIER🚨 Luke Messinger throws a PR 55’ 6.5” to take 3rd and hit the automatic advancement mark on to Lafayette for the Regional! Evan Lawrence also PR’s tonight, throwing 53’ to take 5th. Now we wait to see about a callback…

Jack Hearld broke the 3200 record tonight at 9:25.49 and placed 7th. Caden Collins placed 4th in the High Jump. Evan Lawrence placed 7th and Luke Messinger placed 8th in the shot. A good night in a very tough regional. DCHS Warrior Track Danville Athletics
