Cuomo enacted this carefully-worded law right after the resurgence of the #MeToo movement. The Sexual Harassment Working Group knew it would do nothing to hold abusers accountable, and now we've seen it in action. We're still fighting for a #HarassmentFreeAlbany.

The traumatic & financial impacts of sexual harassment cannot be overstated. Here in NY, the Legislature has passed numerous reforms since 2018, mostly due to the advocacy of survivors and Sexual Harassment Working Group. These oversights in access to justice must be tackled next.
