This amazing 1652 traders token was found #mudlarking on the #thames by a friend not on social media. 'At The. Deathes. Head' on the obverse and, 'In Distaff Lane, 1652' with the initials R. M. D intertwined on the reverse.........

My mother would find big shelf mushrooms and carve landscapes into them with a pin when I was a boy.

I cherish this one.
