This photo was taken in 1958 when Western Federal Savings were moving into offices SE corner of 6th and Hill in #DTLA. That Cunard sign makes me wonder if their offices were in the same building. What really sticks out is that woman in pink. She knew how to stand out in a crowd.

StreetsLA has maintained City of Los Angeles street network for 100+ years. In this undated photo from the early 20th century, our crew paved a section of 3rd Street at Figueroa in #DTLA. Even as our city has changed, StreetsLA has remained #AtYourService! @kdeleoncd14 LA City Public Works

We're looking north across a parking lot at the corner of Wilshire Blvd and Grand Ave #DTLA, circa mid-1950s. That gorgeous teal Ford station wagon - what a bright splash of color. We can also see the Richfield building at 555 S. Flower St until it was unfortunately razed in 1969

We’re looking down Hill St from 6th St in #DTLA, which means Pershing Square was behind the photographer. That cinema on the left is the Paramount Theatre which was “The Naked and the Dead.” It came out in the summer of 1958, so I’m pegging this shot to be circa late 1950s.
