very much hope that Emory will resist calling in Atlanta Police, who are notably cruel towards protesters, especially young people. (Atlanta Police dragged two students out of their cars, smashed their windows, and otherwise traumatized them for ‘curfew violation’ in 2020.)

Law students at Emory with National Lawyers Guild have been pulled off the scene and taken to the deans office. NLG observes interactions between police and citizens in order to keep everyone safe. There is now no NLG eyes or ears at the protest.
