winter is coming. the snow will fall soon, and i will only be able to think of you. the white crystalline blanket coats the ground the same way your soft skin draped over mine. i look up to the sky on a cold snowy night and see the dark blue space above. i wish you were with me.

tonight my chest aches in the spot you used to rest your head. i’d curl my fingers into your hair and kiss the top of your head. i remember the scent of your shampoo and i swear i can almost feel your embrace.

your heart was my home and now i’m just homesick
