Today was supposed to be my first day working as a Band 5 Dietitian in the post I secured 😳 but HCPC has taken longer than planned so start dates been pushed back! Relieved since I don’t feel ready but at the same time I don’t I ever will be 😅😂

MPs just voted on the Tories' new NHS Bill. It extends NHS privatisation, opens the floodgates to cronyism, & incentivises cuts & closures. It's really an NHS Corporate Takeover Bill. I voted against it, but Tory MPs voted it through. I'll keep fighting for our NHS 👊🏽

Happy to help get more people vaccinated. But not so happy about helping the government. Relying on loads of NHS staff to work overtime or be redeployed both which have negative impacts, to reach their targets-all whilst underpaying and undervaluing us(STILL)

Completed my first (of likely very many) new TPN today! An everyday task for most acute dietitians but still pretty chuffed to get one done as a band 5 working for just 4months 😊 small wins 🥳

Chuffed to get a place Leeds Beckett for a postgrad course which will get me on the SENr! Sports dietitian to be 🥳🤩 The next year working full time and completing this is gonna be tough but hopefully worth it 😊

Leaving do❤️🥺 just left Cwm Taf Morgannwg Dietetics after 7/8 months of work and all 3 of my student placements! Really sad to be leaving such a fab team at POWH 💔😢 But very excited to get stuck into my new role in upper GI, HPB & colorectal cancer ☺️
