European Union In Kenya- Food and Agriculture Organization Digital Land Governance Programme, in collaboration with National Land Commission Kisii University, Kisii & Nyamira Counties shared research findings on effects of #landfragmentation Hamisi Williams noted the effects on 🍋🌽food & nutrition security.

FAO in Kenya led by Asst. Rep. Programmes Hamisi Williams & Husna Abdalla Mbarak presented a new Geographic Information System lab. to Kisii County. Hon. Simba Arati, noted that this will be used to address land irregularities, monitor procurement, &map resources to boost County revenue.

During this field trip, I was involved in various engaging discussions with farmers and county level authorities, and I could witness the essential role of digitization as a true enabler of sustainable agrifood system transformation
