with AHL back in #hamont 2025 w/marlies. I reflect: Tim Thomas signs with Edm in 1998. Promised a spot/ playing time. Tim not sharp & some bad home gps. Fan fav Steve Passmore took the gig . Tim only got in 15 of the first 48gps. Tim had enough & quit. Tim had a great NHL career

AHL back in Hamilton 2025. Last AHL gp in Ham- apr18/2015. Their is actually 5 AHL Bulldogs alumni still toiling in the AHL. Josiah Didier , Charles Hudon,,Alex Belzile,,Dustin Tokarski,,Gab Dumont & 3 alumni in the NHL Pacioretty/Tinordi/Gallagher. Pro hockey back in #Hamont

Seeing that #Hamont is getting pro hockey again 2025/ AHL. Nigel Dawes put up fantasy numbers in his brief stay as a Hamilton Bulldogs in 2011 in just 19gps 14gls 14ast. Then in playoffs 20gps w/14gls and 8 helpers. Those were his last pro gps in NA. Curntly playing in KHL

Prevs Hamilton Bulldogs mgmt/ownership had honoured past city success "Hometown Hockey Heritage" Hamilton Red Wings mem cup banner & Hamilton Fincups mem banner. Once Andlauer took over 2004 all those banners & honours removed from Copps. Fresh start & owner in 2025 #hamont

#hamont Copps Coliseum looking good and on pace for AHL pro hockey in the fall of 2025 . All seats being ripped out on both decks. New Suites being built. Toronto Marlies are going to love the state of the art arena. Best rink in the AHL ?

Sad news Former Hamilton Redbirds alumni and ex MLB Doug Creek has passed away. He is one of 24 New York Penn Redbirds alumni to make the bigs that called Hamilton home. Doug played at Bernie Arbour in 1991 RIP Doug

With AHL back in Hamilton in fall 2025(marlies). Hamilton had a 2 yr run with Hamilton Canucks. Their last ever gp april 20 1994. Swept by the Cornwall Aces, Arena looks solid , unfortunately the area is very depressed & i see zero chance of pro or major A back ever again

Ruling devalues teams & qlty level will slide. OHL will get the 16yr old D1 commit to play as 16-17yr old, then jump D1 ( stepping stone) & IMO "O"will lose drftd 19yr (who are stuck/cant AHL) so will go to D1. What is the benefit of rule for the OHL? Troy Izlakar 🏒 Steve McLean

Hamilton Tiger Cubs have lost a local alumni recently. Willie Labanich was up/down w tier2 in 1958-59. Then made the OHA club in 1959 till late nov then sent to tier2 for the balance of yr (Burlington Industrials). Willie was Detroit Red Wings prpty. RIP OHL History Ontario Hockey League

Sad news original 1996 AHL Hamilton Bulldogs Rob Trumbley #29 passed away. Rob was up/down with ECHL till jan 5th, then finished season in ECHL. Nice career in the UK. First Bulldogs player to pass away since team/born in 1996 American Hockey League RIP (nice goal nov19/96 vs leafs AHL)

zero connection with Hamilton ontario , except Greg Millen did play in both Hamilton forum and mountain arena as a Pete Peterborough Petes . He was my all time favourite goalie , RIP OHL History

Sad news Hamilton's Frank Caprice NHL alumni has passed away at a very young age . Frank did not play any OHL or pro in #hamont but he was born and raised here and had a fantastic second career at the OLG RIP

Frank Caprice a Born and Raised Hamilton guy still lived locally in the area. Passed away , played 102 NHL gps. Only 1 gp ever in Toronto (nov 7 1984) Nice article of a young Frank excited to be back locally Hamilton Kilty B’s kilty bees alumni as well
