Just a guy with 39 successful combat flight missions on his resume about to dig in with a guy who was a machine gunner at Omaha Beach on D-Day behind the plate. Two goddamn men.

Always enjoy experts selecting greats for the All-time “team”. I always ask 1 question: Do you want to win? Then you better choose Russell! RIP Bill Russell

If politicians are allowed to decide what we read and what children can study in school, you will have a generation of uneducated, ill-prepared and incurious children. And we all pay the price for stupidity. Think about that when you VOTE.

Save the money & have these kids just go play at the park for hours. Play pick up baseball or strikeout against garage. Just go play. This is boring. No wonder kids stop at a certain age. #Baseball

So sad to hear of Vida’s passing. One of my favorite memories, sitting next to him Opening Day, 2013 at AT&T. We started going over his 1971 Allstar game start in Detroit, facing all those Hall of Farmers. He was one of my very favorites. RIP Vida!
