Our Emergency Response Team has been deployed and are responding to the fire incident at the Thalifushi Godown. We are closely monitoring and supporting the response efforts at the scene by providing first aid services, psychosocial support and management of IDPs.

Maldivian Red Crescent Emergency Response Team is currently stationed near Henvairu Dhandu Area for today’s Local Council Election, Women’s Development Committee Election, and Referendum, providing First Aid and Psychological First Aid support to the community. 🗳️🚑

There’s a reason psychosocial support providers are trained and licensed. When someone seeks help, confidentiality is not optional. Publicly sharing personal messages is a serious breach of trust. This will only make vulnerable youth less likely to seek help.
