"Hey, I wouldn't be the one disappointed if it didn't happen." Wait, what? That came out better in her head. "So why the big smile then?"

"Hey, happy is happy, whatever the reason for it."

She narrowed her eyes before knocking his arm off of her shoulder. "Where do you get off talking to me like that?"

There was a long pause before she shrugged her shoulders, though in a much less enthusiastic way than he had shown earlier. "Meh?"

"I dunno. I woke up feeling great. Went for a run, grabbed some coffee, mid-way through training it just felt like the punching bag decided to hit back." Another shrug. "Been 'meh' since."

She's learning to like tea! Granted it has to have a lot of sugar in it... But she's learning! And the moon being made of cheese is making her very, very hungry.

"You're not /m y/ superior, Old Man."

"....I may need to replace it before anyone goes back down to the training room..."

"Look, I don't know what you've been smoking, but I will never answer to you."

"Assistance would be greatly appreciated."

She folded her arms across her chest. "No."

It was true, she had plenty of work that she needed to be doing... But his condescending attitude was pissing her off enough to blow it off completely. At least for the moment. She stood her ground, just staring at him.

She stumbled forward when he turned her, but that just irked her all the more. "You son of a..." She turned on her heel to face him again. "What the hell is your problem?"

"Stop treating me like a damn kid."

She really wanted to kick him for some reason. Right in the damn shin. "Why?"

"Funny how you're under the impression that I'll actually listen to you."

"The hell you are."

"You can carry on your business, Grandpa. I'll carry on mine." Which consisted of her walking the exact opposite way of the way he sent her.
