Well done, IKEA, and interested to see whether MycoComposite gets more widely adopted. Massive, industrial-scale "packaging mushroom" farms seem like something out of a William Gibson novel, but the world is in desperate need of sth. better than cardboard/plastic. 🍄▶️📦

Global insect biomass is falling at exactly the same rate that global GDP is growing. Turns out GDP is an accidental indicator of how quickly we are unraveling the web of life. Perhaps we should replace GDP with insect biomass as our primary indicator of progress.

We had one of our first digital roundtables today with some of our Built Environment Experts (AKA BEEs!) With the collective expertise, we discussed what support is most needed amidst a pandemic and where the role of design can help.

I've been teaching my mum to recognise how the Hungarian media are manipulating her worldview, including the infantilisation efforts of daily news always ending with a story in the zoo. She sent me a photo of a leopard last night to add to my collection 💪👏 #stupidifythemasses
