The tower is made from a frame then tiles 9mm x 5mm made from birchwood are hand cut to represent the million hand made bricks used to build the original dock tower. All parts are hand made, these photos show the ornamental part and the process of the making of the arches.

The first part of the ornamental area of the tower, the bricks yet to be trimmed, this held the 40,000 litres of water to power the opening and closing of the lock gates, Other images shows the arches which 20 of them for this part, arch bricks after being cut on the board.
