What's important about unionizing isn't the legal structure that gets formed if/when a vote or card check is successful, it's the process of organizing and building solidarity with other workers. It's this process that changes people's worldview, and shifts the balance of power.

It’s easy to see CODE-CWA or yours truly and think that there are organizations out there "unionizing the industry." But make no mistake -- union campaigns are run by ordinary game workers. We're here to help, but only *you* can gather your fellow workers into a movement.

This is so important. We've seen some threads over the past week suggesting that a union is a "third-party". It isn't - the union is you and your co-workers.
