So excited for placement after today’s phone call😁. I am nervous to be in year 6 but the school sound so supportive and I’m looking forward to the challenge. Any tips for teaching year 6 on placement would be appreciated!🤓

Had a visit to my placement school this afternoon, now I’m feeling so much better about being in year 6 after meeting my lovely class🥰. Then came home to my delivery from Positive Teacher Co., looking forward to using the trainee planner again this year!☺️

Well after meeting my class on Monday I’ve just had a phone call from my mentor to say that my upper KS2 bubble are having to isolate😩. What a great start to placement before it’s even begun! Luckily they are involving me in online learning.

So excited to start my placement tomorrow after my Year 6 class have been isolating. Got my secret student set up and ready to implement🤩🥰!

First day of placement and straight into teaching today😆. Safe to say I loved every minute and have never felt so welcomed into a school. So excited for the best placement❤️.

A boy in my year 6 class is known to hate writing and be quite challenging in English lessons throughout his previous years in school. Today he asked me if he could stay in at break time and do some more writing, I was so happy🥺🤩!

So gutted about the news. Although it was the right decision, all I could do was burst into tears at the thought of not gaining the full experience of my final placement with my amazing year 6 class😔. I suppose I will be clued up on remote learning😂.

I GOT THE JOB!🥳🥳🥳🥳 I am so happy to say that I have been offered a position at the most amazing school. I cannot wait to start next week🥰. All of the hard work has payed off, it doesn’t feel real! I am a teacher😁.
