My parents live one hour from Atlanta, one hour from Birmingham, not far from Anniston, Ala. There is no decent internet available on their farm. After giving up on non-working AT&T DSL they are struggling with a thing called Viasat that sometimes works. -Elizabeth

Alan, baby, why so jaded? Have the boys all grown up and their beauty faded? Billy, what a saint they've made you, just like Mary down in Mexico on All Souls' Day

Andres is a friend & a great mind agitator. He once asked me "you're a smart girl, why do you wear cowboy boots?". A good read on the lessons of New Orleans. -EE #neworleans #newurbanism #andresduany

So many historic properties destroyed such as the ZANE GREY house in Altadena. Originally built in 1906 by Elmer Grey as a Mediterranean Revival “fireproof” structure. Zane Grey moved his family into the house in 1920 and passed away here in 1939. They’ll never regain this

If I were forced to pick one scene in Lynch's run that encapsulates his art (which is impossible), my pick is the Llorando sequence in Mulholland Drive. Even in the dark of our nightmares, the beauty and pain of art can reach us, even if that art is built on nightmares itself.
