I used to be a psychologist and a teacher, but now I'm working as a model. 😀 Look at me on the cover of the Moodle website. Photo taken during an educational technology hackathon in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2022.

Very sad day. Hank Pennypacker dies. Hank, a giant in behavior analysis, co-authored the essential “Strategies & Tactics of Behavioral Research” and developed (starting in 1974!) the lifesaving ABA application, MammaCare, using errorless learning to teach breast lump detection.

Read this. There is a lot of fear of too much criticism in psychology, talk of protecting ECRs from this threat, etc. What about protecting ECRs from the damage of being silenced or worse when they raise legitimate criticism of famous people’s work? Excellent piece by Zoé Ziani, Ph.D.

Before PowerPoint, DuPont had a Chart Room. Made in 1919, it was considered so vital that its existence was secret for 40 years Charts would zoom towards the board on monorails. The original version was a set of fixed slides that executives in wheelie chairs would be pushed past

Want to measure behaviors? Then measure behaviors! The funeral march of questionnaires, in leadership, management, psychology, wherever! In a solemn pace of a funeral procession, questionnaires are now in a coffin and being walked to the cemetery. doi.org/10.1016/j.leaq…
