Brittany smirked, leaning in so she could whisper in Quinn’s ear. “Lord Tubbington is actually a robot. I also really miss scissoring. Oh, and the cheese in my fondue is actually made of plastic.” Brittany pulled back and shrugged her shoulders.

Brittany smiled and shrugged her shoulders again, twirling her blonde hair around her finger. “What can I say? I’m an interesting human bean. And you, Quinnie? Any secrets these days?”

Brittany was a very intuitive young woman, and she knew Quinn was apprehensive. She put her arm around Quinn’s shoulder in a friendly manner, giving her a squeeze. “I swear on Lord Tubbingtons poops I won’t tell a soul, or put it on my talk show. C’mon it’s between us girls.”

Brittany’s eyes grew wide and she gasped lightly. She lowered her voice to a whisper and looked at Quinn dead in the eyes. “I have a feeling he’s never really gotten over you... and my feelings are never wrong. You two had... chemistry.”

“I really think so..” Brittany smiles, seeing Quinn’s face brighten up. Britt always thought she and Sam made a great pair. “Some people are just meant to be. You know, kind of like me and Santana. I know we’ll find our way back to each other someday.”

Brittany felt Quinn take her hands and she looked down, adverting her gaze. “I’m sorry too... but we’re soulmates. And soulmates always find each other in the end. Have you spoken to her recently? Um, how is she?”

Brittany nodded in return and let go of Quinn’s hands before crossing her arms over her chest. Her eyes grew wide and a slight blush crept her cheeks. “I just wish I could see her, but she’s been so busy... and like Ive said before: you can’t really scissor a computer.”

“She does....” Brittany sighs and meets Quinn’s gaze. “But things are kinda weird between us right now... I just wish things could go back to normal. Like when we were in Glee club.

Brittany shakes her head. “I wish we could sing all of our problems away like we used to. Now we’re stuck in this scary adult world... and I feel all alone.” Brittany looks down and sighs.

“Really? How so?” Brittany bit her lip and tilted her head to the side.

“That’s true... hey! We should go dancing sometime! You definitely have some moves.”
