Today in history: 77 years ago on 8 June 1948 Air India's first international flight, a Lockheed Constellation L-749A aircraft named Malabar Princess, took off from Bombay (Mumbai) bound for London via Cairo & Geneva. Flight was in command of Capt. K.R. Guzdar with 35 passengers.
