This is such an anti art thing it isn't even funny. These 3D models are made with specific details and characteristics made to fit these characters. But this slop filter literally just slaps on random realism and removes any intended art direction from every game.

In Chinese we have an idiom 画蛇添足 (adding legs to a painting of a snake) which refers to when someone adds unnecessary embellishments to a piece of work that deviate from the original intent, thus ruining it in the process.
