One week away! Some traditions are just too important to skip - even in 2020. Normally, I only run one Turkey 🦃 Trot 🏃🏻‍♀️, but virtual = the chance to do more! I’m running ThunderCloud Subs Trot to benefit Caritas of Austin + Georgetown Running Trot to benefit Wilco Meals on Wheels!

I usually do double-digit runs on Fridays, but today was too warm & too humid. I made up my mind on mile 0 to do the Georgetown Running Virtual Vern’s No Frills 10k instead of the half marathon. Snuck in just barely sub-9. 🏃🏻‍♀️ 6.2 miles | 55:36 | 8:58 pace | 78° 😓

Running in 80° heat is not fun, but I pushed it today & felt great! Race 2 of the Virtual Georgetown Running Vern’s No Frills Race Series in the books! 5k | 3.1 miles | 25:15 | 8:08 pace.
