Was lucky enough to have the opportunity to run the Terry Fox Run at Byron Northview this week! What a great experience, loving this school!

Wow! 5 weeks flew by at Byron Northview - can’t believe I’m already finished up! So thankful for my AT and the grade 3s that made my third practicum such a great experience - from organizing the Terry Fox Run to partner teaching a Minecraft mining lesson. So much fun!

Long overdue update, but for the past ~5 weeks, I have been working in my first LTO at Knollwood Park P.S. in a Grade 2 class! Such a great learning experience with a great group of Ss and a wonderful staff!

When writing words in Elkonin boxes a S spelled “cat” with a “k”. We learned why we use a “c” instead. I ❤️ being able to teach why instead of getting Ss to find a word on a word wall. #fdk #SOR #elkoninboxes
