Don't worry about how engaging your lessons were over these past 3 months or how many assignments were completed. The most important thing is that you were there for your students. Many kids needed just that: An adult who shows up and is there for them no matter what.

Explaining teaching to a non-teacher: "It's incredibly stressful, and nearly impossible at times, but I love doing it and can't imagine doing anything else. Oh... and I'm broke."

I am so proud of my 5th graders AISGZ who used household items like coffee, tea, spices, cosmetics, etc., and turned it into alternative art supplies at home during Covid-19 online learning. I'm totally amazed by their skills. Thanks to #abbyschukei The Art of Education University #IBPYP

Here's to all the parents out there who somehow made it through 2 months of homeschooling and now face an entire summer with their children when everything's closed.

If I've done my calculations correctly, I will successfully be able to social distance my students next year without any issues... Provided that my classroom is an empty football stadium and I teach using a bullhorn from the press box. #2020teacherproblems
