Naah mate. I am in the 1% of India. I still don’t have the quality of life of bottom 20% of half decent western country. I do not have access to law and order. A random dude can break the windscreen of my car or worse my head if I drive a way he doesn’t like.

The British government wanted fewer cobras in Delhi. So they offered money for every dead cobra. Result? The cobra population EXPLODED. This "solution" backfired so spectacularly––It's now a fundamental psychological principle studied at Harvard, Stanford, and MIT: 🧵

When Nayantara looks you in the eye, time stands still. Aptly named, she has her father’s eyes (Chota Matka) and sure has his fearlessness. #tiger #wildlifephotography #india

On this day, as the cricketing world fondly celebrates the birthday of Sunil Gavaskar, it's worth remembering that in 1993, in a city fractured by bombs and riots, Gavaskar didn’t just stand tall, he stood between life and death. 1/11

Saw some posts by somen mishra recently comparing the lives of Guru Dutt and Vincent van Gogh and how Pyaasa might have been a tribute to Van Gogh. It got me wondering... What if Guru Dutt had actually directed a biopic inspired by Van Gogh’s life? #gurudutt #vinectvangogh

The sheer swag of Choti Tara’s cub! Daughter of the “Mother of Tadoba”, she is supremely confident. I felt that confidence & pizzazz of Nayantara in her & can bet she will be one of #Tadoba’s star tigresses in the years ahead. I hope to return & reconnect with her soon. #wildlife

Passengers of the jungle - As the elephant moves through the forest, it disturbs insects that would otherwise stay hidden. The myna follows, catching them mid-air or plucking parasites off the elephant’s skin. One gains a bit of grooming, the other, an all-access buffet.

RIP Chandra Barot! The man who, along with Salim-Javed gave Hindi cinema its coolest, slickest actioner that still stands the test of time. Don is the only film he ever made that released. Chander ji, aapko bhoolna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai.

While I am not a fan of this film, my heart aches for the director. Pathetic that this is being allowed without the director’s consent. Isn’t it enough that studios & producers butcher edits & directors’ vision, now creators have to deal with this nonsense too?

Now armchair analysts asking for Shubhman Gill’s head. He’s human. He’s not going to fire in every match. He just has to fire more often than he doesn’t. That’s why there are 6 other batters. They have to make up when one key batter fails. That way everyone bats without pressure.

This is a phenomenal film. It’s a travesty such films with a mainstream ensemble have gone missing from Hindi cinema. It’s a travesty that we aren’t seeing more films by Abhishek Chaubey.
