Wish there were a term for asexual when severely depressed and allosexual when not. Because pretty much.

The intersection of disability and asexuality is important to think about in this context.

The idea that asexual people *must* be disabled is harmful.

And disabled asexual folks exist. For some, their disability may be linked with their asexuality.

As a barely functioning person who is currently unable to offer friends much of anything that even vaguely resembles support and who has been here for months, still endorsing this. Can’t and won’t/wouldn’t if I could might be a spectrum but it’s still got two ends.

Community is not just cookouts and the fun stuff, and those things are missing because many folks don’t want to show up for the “non-fun” part of what being in community means.
