-c- gestures to her works. When she mentions Apocalyptic Creed, there's a slight stirring in my memory of the title, but I think I never -c-

-c- really paid that much attention because most of the boys -and some of the girls who thought they were boys- were really into it. -c-

-c- There was a practical fan club in. /my/. school. Oh my freaking god!] Wow I... /all/ like ALL of the kids in my school /love/ it, but-c-

-c- I've honestly never read any of them. I stick to classics, biographies...you know, the nerd stuff no one my age should be reading. -c-

-c- And my own stuff... because I write..a little. I mean--I write a lot, but I don't know if I'm any good or anything. [I tuck a strand -c-

-c- of hair behind my ear, smile bursting forth before I can stop it as I lean forward, eyes bright with unabashed excitement] How did -c-

-c- you start? Why did you start? Did you always wanna be a writer, or did it just happen by accident? What's Apocalyptic Creed about? -c-

-c- What inspired it? Oh--- my god... [I hold my hand over my mouth as if that can stop the verbal diarrhea of words from overflowing -c-

-c- and overwhelming Logan Marshall, who probably had not planned this] I know writers like their solitude and I'm totally just all in -c-

-c- Logan Marshall your space right now, so just---don't...I'll google you. I'm just---really excited to meet someone who loves words -c-

-c- Logan Marshall as much as I do. Then again I don't exactly know a lot of people...Or-- anyone for that matter. [For a moment I -c-

-c- pause, before I tentatively continue, figuring I may as well just admit the truth. Somehow I think Logan Marshall can understand] -c-

-c- I spend so much time by myself, caught up in my own head or observing people so I can write down what I see and create stories from -c-

-c- it, that I don't actually get to know people, or know how. This guy I've had a crush on /forever/ actually talked to me, and today he-c-

-c- asked me out, sort of, to a party and I don't even know what to do or what to wear and I can't ask my mom because she won't even -c-

-c- care and that's if I'm lucky enough to even catch her at home, so I probably won't even go tonight.. [I look down at the book in my -c-

-c- hands before smiling up at Logan Marshall] So that's why you're even better than a grandpa, because you're probably the only person -c-
