It’s with a heavy heart the DEA announces the passing of retired Det. Lawrence Bromm. Shot in '77 and awarded the Medal of Honor in '78, Det. Bromm continued to serve for a total of 44 years. He is a truly heroic inspiration — and one of “The Greatest Detectives in the World!”

We mourn the tragic loss of FDNY FF Timothy Klein - a hero who died while bravely serving the City of NY. We pray for his family and for the full recovery of his FDNY brothers who were injured in the fire 🙏🏼

For Police Week this year we will be honoring 563 officers who made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities. 563 families ripped apart, who will never be whole again. We live in a deeply polarized society, but surely everyone can come together and honor their sacrifice.
