managed to wreck my car on a dry stone wall

got interrupted by a phone call then: my son James phoned to tell me about his track day at Mallory in his Locust

I was on my way back from a car show at Gawsworth a couple of weeks back, and lost the car on a corner, the car ending in a field.

Twisted chassis and front crossframe. It is now at Mogspert Tim Ayres, awaiting the insurance assessors verdict, repair or wriite off.

I do not expect it will be back with me for at least a couple of months, so I will miss a load of sprints and hillclimbs this season. Sob.

Andrew, I drove past Streethay yesterday and today!

off to daughter's new house on Saturday, she became a house-owner on Wednesday. Lots of jobs for dad no doubt!

off to Harewood today to watch a big field of Mogs taking part in a hillclimb. Lots from the VSCC there too. Should be a good day out

had a great day at Harewood. Son James won a raft race in Stoke. Daughter Emily's new fridge freezer arrived

Off to Mallory Park on Sunday to watch another rouind of the Morgan Race Series

Spent a great day on Bank Hiloday Mondat at a PCT (Production Car Trial) in Lincolnshire. Came first in class. Woo Hoo, another 20 points!

the wrong exhaust gasket arrived today. I should have got one for a +8 apparently. Still, see what the postie brings tomorrow.

I had a nice rest aftermy hike in Derbyshire, and went to watch car racing at Cadwell yesterday (Sunday)
