Here's a funny 1 panel cartoon by Carl Gafford that appeared in the Buyer's Guide for Comic Fandom # 21 (September 1972) featuring a couple of well know villains created by Jack Kirby, with names slightly changed to protect the cartoonist, I'd imagine!

Here's an ad I think is particularly cool. It's for the very first issue of Contemporary Pictorial Literature, or CPL, as it is/was commonly known. It was published by future pro Bob Layton and it comes from the Buyer's Guide for Comic Fandom # 28, dated January 1973.

Here is an ad for a comic book con in Southfield, MI that took place in May 1978. I suspect that I attended this con. The ad ran in a Buyer's Guide issue a month or two before the con. I saved it because of the Mike Vosburg Captain America artwork!

Here is On the Drawing Board Vol 2 #10/Comic Reader #57, published in February 1967 by Robert Schoenfeld. The cover is drawn by Jim Sullivan and it's one of the best fan drawn Batman illustrations ever published in a fan publication, at least in my opinion!

(📢) The meme to end all memes: the Top 100 reasons not to support Donald Trump... in one image. I’m a NYT-bestselling Trump biographer, and this is the culmination of what I learned over a decade. What do you think—any chance we could get this to 50K RETWEETS by Election Day?
