Such a shame, I only saw this building last week.

We really are living among the ruins of a once great civilisation

India Buildings on Bridge Street has had a roof collapse, destabilising the façade. Neighbouring residents have been evacuated.

Demolition is sadly inevitable now. Just been on site. I'm working with Council officers to try to save the carved pediment and chimneys from the roof.

“What a tragedy WWI was for Canada. I don't just mean the personal tragedies but the breakup of Western civilization…In the blood & horror of the war Western Christianity came to an end and by weakening Britain & France it weakened our ties to our parent nations.”

Much scrutiny lately of 'Chinese police stations' operating on the streets of Britain…

What links the 'stations' to British politics, the Chinese Communist Party, an assault in the heart of London, & serious organised crime?

This is big.

The worst industrial accident in UK history happened today in 1913 as an explosion devastated the Senghenydd coal mine in Wales. The explosive wave tore through the mine, travelled up shaft & destroyed the headframe; killing someone on the surface. In all 439 miners were killed.

A key mistake of the US intervention in Afghanistan was its refusal to support the idea of a reintroduction of the Afghan monarchy. When Zahir Shah returned in 2002, he had support across Afghan ethnicities, but the US's anti-monarchist State rejected him. Some loyalties matter.

Hancock’s behaviour - like that of other senior promoters of the Covid panic - shows beyond doubt that the government did and does not believe its own propaganda. Oddly, almost everyone else does believe it. That is our tragedy.

Magnitude 6.5-6.8 earthquake close to the Russia-Mongolia border a short time ago. Here it is seen on a seismometer station in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, ~550 km away.
Initial P-wave arrival seems to have quite a low frequency, followed by a higher-frequency wavetrain ... fascinating

It’s “fascism” to argue that unelected corporate apparatchiks should not be the sole arbiters of what political speech is allowed to traverse the internet. People cheering are so fucking deluded, they actually believe that

Canada wouldn't exist without Sir John A. Macdonald. Canada is a great county, and one we should be proud of. We will not build a better future by defacing our past.

It's time politicians grow a backbone and stand up for our country.

You wicked liars and defamers. The British Empire, of which Canada was a part, abolished the slave trade, declared war on slave ships and literally purchased the freedom of every slave in 1833 — 34 years before Canada became a country. We were where American slaves fled.
