I agree, as long as you spend the same amount as you would with a debit card and pay off the balance in full every month, credit cards can be a good money tool.

If I wanted to make sure I never will have financial freedom, I would: 1. Put off saving until tomorrow 2. Make only the minimum payments on my credit card 3. Never receive guidance 4. Only invest in the stock market when it is doing well 5. Panic sell when it drops

Most people I know avoid budgeting because it will reveal a spending problem that is unpleasant to deal with. Get over it. Acknowledging your weaknesses is not the same as surrendering to them. It is the first step to fixing the issue.
