Here is eileen today we have changed the tires for a new set, started to put the stickers on the car and painted the black on the back of the car. We are very nearly there now and not far off the race.

Theres more stickers going on the car today and some cleaning as well to make it look nicer after all the wet and dry sanding.

You can get a first look at the fully finished Eileen on Saturday if you are attending the open event at Wilberforce College from 9:30-12:30 the car will be at the front of the car college in reception ready for pick up

We discovered a very nice effect today that when direct sunlight shines on the car this glitter sort of sparkle appears on the paint. It looks better in person and hopefully if there is enough sun on the day we will be able to get this effect on the day.

GOOD NEWS Eileen is now fully finished and everything is done tomorrow we are going to be performing final checks and then we are ready for Sunday

We added this mirrored card onto the mirror pods to give them a better look.

We also made an aluminium cover plate for the back of the car to cover the batteries. The car has been dusted down and had some more stickers applied showing our twitter name.

Eileen is now in reception ready for it to picked up tomorrow and also to display the car during open event tomorrow morning Wilberforce Sixth Form College from 9:30am - 12:30am.

Just tomorrow left now until Eileen goes out racing for the first time since we made the design changes over this year. Let's see how well we do and let's see if our design changes make Eileen go faster.

Doing very well at the race however it is almost over now.

That's the end of our race we got 6th place out of the 14 cars that went out on track.

The car is now back at Wilberforce Sixth Form College after its amazing race yesterday it went very well we came sixth but now we need to start looking at what needs changing and improving. The motor and batteries didn't get nearly as hot as when the air intakes weren't there so they worked

Now that the race is complete it takes the pressure off us to get the car finished and now we can slow down and really think about what we are doing with the car but the three we are concentrating on is making the car lighter, making the car faster and possibly some suspension.
