A "compassionate revolution." That is what so many of us thirst for.

I don't know anything about lindsey vonn. She's a skier, I think. But this tweet, and the incredibly mean responses, tell the story of how meanness has become normalized. Self-righteous mean responses by people calling out meanness. How about love instead?

Bringing respect, grace and unconditional love to those we disagree with feels radical and scary today. We risk being called out for acts of compassion and understanding. Let's boldly do it anyway.

Standing in long line at airport. Saw a guy politely ask the woman behind him to give him a couple extra feet of space since his wife has cancer. She was pissed. “Dude, you’ve got your mask on!” We have come trust each other so little that there’s no room for compassion.
