I have finally learned the secret to a successful spring vegetable garden- benign neglect. Far too much travel in the past 6 weeks. Almost no time to tend the garden.

I married a good one.

I don't wear designer clothes.
I do schedule a brief visit for a teen with a complaint of a stomachache.
When that teen turns out to be seriously depressed with suicidal thoughts, that visit is no longer brief.
Do you get it now?

ADHD follow up visit with a 10 year old who just started meds. Also wears glasses for very poor vision.
Me: Tell me what you noticed when you started the meds.
10: It was almost like when I put my first pair of glasses on. Everything was clear. It was awesome.
