The main reason to enjoy growing photinia is the bright red colour of new shoots as they appear. But they offer flowers too. Established ones are looking like clouds of white smoke all over #Cardiff at the moment, as the flower clusters cover the plant. #gardening #springflowers

A popular plant at #RHSChelsea was Cirsium. It was on several gardens incl Warner's Distillery Garden. I was glad to see it so much as I'd already added it to a new border at home - on trend for once! It's attracting #pollinators, next to teasels & tall grasses. #gardening
