Students in San Lucas are always excited to see the ScienceMobile. One of their favorite exhibits is the rocket launcher, which can send a paper rocket nearly 50 yards. The ScienceMobile Ciencia Ambulante program is partially sponsored by Chevron Central California.

🦁🌿 Roaring with excitement! Our Greenfield after-school students embarked on a wild adventure to the Oakland Zoo! From majestic lions to the gigantic elephant, we explored the wonders of wildlife up close! A day filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories! 🐒🐘

Soledad 4th graders zoomed into action with their direct transmission car project. 5th graders experimented with dry ice to explore solids, liquids, and gases! 6th grade,took the spotlight as students powered up their knowledge with hands-on experiences with solar panels.

For the first week of May, Oak Avenue 1st graders explored the wonderful science of sound! 🎶 By playing with string telephones and building their own marimbas, these students learned about sound waves and pitch. Science rocks 🎸

On Friday, May 3rd, Greenfield CSW hosted its third bike repair workshop of the year in San Lucas, donating about 50 bikes! 🎉 Community members had the chance to take home a bike, get fitted for a new helmet, or have their own bikes repaired. 🛠️🚴

This 04/27/24 the Greenfield CSW organized a trip to East Pinnacles NP 🌳🏞️. Families hiked the Bear Gulch Cave Trail - Moses Spring Trail Loop 🥾. After exploring the caves and reservoir, everyone enjoyed games, watercolor painting 🎨 under the shade

This year, the Greenfield CSW Bike Club, made up of mostly high school students, had the fantastic opportunity to volunteer at the Sea Otter Classic! It was a memorable experience for everyone involved.

In April, local 4th graders had the chance to explore how energy works by building their very own solar-powered car! 🚗☀️ Not only do these students have an understanding of how solar energy is captured, but they now have their own means for harnessing and using it!
