We’ve been enjoying visiting our forest school regularly this half term. Last week, we went out into Forest School to find things that were alive, dead or had never been alive and recorded it in a table #GPAscience

We have been learning about how to create a tally chart in Maths this week. We went around class and asked each other what our favourite colour was and found the total using our 5times table knowledge and number bonds. #GPAmaths

We decided to take our learning outside too to enjoy the sunny weather and used a tally to record the colours of the cars driving past. So much fun. #GPAmaths

On Tuesday, we had an exciting trip to the Mosque as we have been learning about sacred places. We had lots to share and enjoyed learning about Islam too. #GPAre

Schools out for summer! Year 2 celebrated a successful year with a treat! An ice pop and the sun even popped out for 20 minutes too. Have a great summer break everyone!

We enjoy watching BBC Newsround in Year 2. Today we were amazed by the skills of the gymnasts!

We’ve been working hard this term on place value. Here we used base 10 to represent a number using a rally coach and wrote a number sentence partitioning the tens and ones. #GPAmaths

We have also worked together to look at partitioning numbers flexibly using base ten. We found it quite tricky but preserved and succeeded in the end. #GPAMaths

In RSHE, we have looked at how our bodies show different emotions and how we might feel on the inside too. #GPARSHE
