Personal and Authentic-Establishing a positive classroom environment has been an important component to making my students feel valued while at the same time providing them with the necessary materials to support their learning.

I am working towards a more student centered classroom. I love to be able to target individual student needs during guided reading and guided math groups while the rest of the class is working on different activities that target their interests and abilities. #HCISDreads
