I know there are backcourts with better efficiency stats. I know there are backcourts with more NBA talent. But there aren’t many (any?) backcourts with more experience. And there aren’t any that will play harder for longer than X & Trey. Excited to support those two in 23/24.

Patriots are arguably the worst team in football. If Mac Jones and Brock Purdy were traded 1 for 1. Would anything change? I don’t necessarily think so… Purdy is a great fit for the best offense in football, but I’m not sure he’s more talented or a better QB than Mac Jones.

As much as that was a complete basketball masterclass (as per the usual) start to finish from the Huskies/Hurley, and Painter/Purdue could and will learn from them, I hope Hurley takes a step back and learns from the class Purdue and Painter have in wins or losses. Bigger than 🏀
