Would Maya Forstater like to try and quell the anti-LGBT+ sentiment she has whipped up during #Pride month? No?

No, Twitter. I do not like. People like Maya Forstater don’t care about the whirlwind of hate against all LGBT+ people that their actions have. Whatever their beliefs, they don’t see the consequences of their words nor the impact this is having beyond the so-called “trans debate”.

Oh look. Someone NOT being silenced. Someone obsessed with penises, who conflates trans people and sex offenders. Someone who should focus their energy on real problems. Imagine the good they good do instead of stirring up the shit which validates hate against all LGBT+ people.

Progress is being made but Haringey Council major works to our #leaseholdscandal flat are still grossly unaffordable. Even with £25k cap to bathroom we’re still facing a £58k+ bill. Payments would be approx £350 a month on top of existing service charge, mortgage, bills etc.

Thank you Cllr Khaled Moyeed 🌹 for standing up for all our demands. This is a big step forward.

We hope @HaringeyCouncil's cabinet will now adopt all the recommendations in the scrutiny report.

We're glad that new Haringey Council leader Peray Ahmet is bringing fresh eyes to our situation and is in listening mode.

Let's hope our meeting with her this week brings some genuine solutions to our #leaseholdscandal .
