Pierre Poilievre's obsession with making pollution great again is going to backfire. The only ones who think this way are already locked in Conservative voters. Profits before clean water,clean air, and our health,am I right? That big tent is shrinking.

Mark Carney said that for any face to face negotiation, that Trump has to respect our sovereignty, and take off the tariffs. Pierre Poilievre must make it clear that is his policy as well. I expect nothing less from a PM of Canada.

But let us not forget that there is a duty to consult FN's with projects and all environmental impacts studies should be transparent and publicly available. Not having a clear policy on assessment and approval of projects erodes public trust and creates uncertainty.

Nothing is set in stone. There's a difference between what we want to happen, and what will happen. One party hasn't given any info on how the approval process will work, uncertainty,and the other party promises quicker approval. Will investors come running? 🤷 Who knows.

So, the PM avoided the President baiting him into a confrontation, and instead of taking the cheese, Carney just tried being diplomatic, and Conservatives think that this is a big scandal. We know what Trump is and what he thinks. It's not new info. This is a nothing burger.
