The European Commission will soon review #EU gas market legislation with #Hydrogen & Decarbonised Gas Markets Package. Focusing on facilitating the uptake of #renewable & low carbon gases & on developing an #EU hydrogen market.

🇪🇺GD4S had the chance to meet Kadri Simson, EU Commissioner at the European Commission. She agreed on the fact that #gas has a key role to play in the #energytransition and beyond 2030, assuming that #naturalgas will be progressively replaced by #renewablegas ✅

Biomethane🍃 is a solution to improve the environmental footprint of the #transport sector in the #EU because it reduces 📉:
➡️PM by 95% compared to diesel
➡️NOx by 50%
➡️Noise by 50%
➡️CO2 emissions by 80%
