This week has been quite normal, which in itself is bizarre given the circumstances! 2 concerts (online of course), a costume fitting, a singing lesson, a coaching and today starting work on some new festive treats from The All Sorts One of the better weeks this year!!

Glorious is the only word that even comes close to describing this man's voice.

Ha! Living in Scotland, you would definitely need to be fully waterproofed before even considering it!

We are still so far from 'normal' times but today I start rehearsals for an opera concert project and I cannot describe how excited and how thankful I am. It's back to uncertainty after this but I'm going to cherish every moment of joint music making while I can!

Yet again ScotRail there seem to only be 2 masked people in a relatively full carriage. Please start enforcing the masks! Of course some people are exempt, but I highly doubt that all of the unmasked people are. For people who commute it doesn't feel safe.

Today marks the first time I've been involved in a full run of an opera with a fully costumed cast and chorus on stage, and the orchestra physically in the pit since February 2020. Final push to opening night now!
