i do think it’s interesting how the imagery behind the apocryphal “redditor” shifted from Neckbeard Brony (offputting because he’s so fringe) to Normie Sheep (offputting because he’s so mundane) to meaning basically nothing with the past decade’s mainstreaming of “nerd culture”
